It was almost a shock to see so much snow at Stockholm. As soon as the snow turned into ice, the pavements were almost like ice rinks, making movement treacherous. The locals are so used to the snow, none of them seemed too concerned. Cars were driven at low speed, and drivers generally stopped to allow pedestrians to pass first.
