Bratislava Series - Remnants of the past

In the height of winter when the trees are bare of leaves, when foot traffic is light, and when everything is bathed in a dull grey winter light, the Soviet type architecture in Bratislava's Old Town come into their own. Most of them look over sized, a statement from a bygone era. They seem to be about heroics and hysterics, and in this modern age, they no longer strike a resonance.
